Pelham City Park features two playgrounds, six baseball/softball fields, a walking trail, a football field and a practice field, three concession stands with restroom facilities, 6 batting cages, 11 hard surface tennis courts and tennis center, a complex of four lighted sand volleyball courts, two-full length, lighted outdoor basketball courts, two pickleball courts and a pavilion with restrooms are available.

The park is maintained by the City of Pelham.

Southern Cookin’ Showdown
This family-friendly fundraiser for SafeHouse features a cooking competition among teams of four. Both amatuers and professionals are welcomed to compete in three categories – Sweets, Meats and Fixins’. A panel of judges will determine winners in each category and guests at the event may sample all of the entries and vote for the People’s Choice award.
Pitch, Hit and Run Skills Competition
Pitch Hit & Run™ is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball®. This grassroots program is designed to provide a FREE program for boys and girls, ages 7-14, that gives participants the chance to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities in an exciting baseball/softball skills competition.
PITCH – Participants are tested throwing 6 balls to a designated “Strike Zone” target. Any method of throwing is permitted.
HIT – Participants hit 3 balls off a tee for distance and accuracy.
RUN – Participants are timed, starting from second base, touching third then touching home plate.
• Participants compete in each of the three components and accumulate a total scored using conversion tables.
