End Heroin Walk
END HEROIN BHAM is a community event hosted by the Addiction Prevention Coalition. Started in 2017, the walk was created to spread awareness about the drug epidemic and create a sense of solidarity for those struggling through it. This solidarity is just one way to reduce the stigma around addiction and one of the first steps in getting people the help they need.

The walks were previously hosted in scenic Railroad Park. Each year, friends and family registered as teams and individuals show up to give support and encouragement. The event in non-competitive, meaning attendees can walk as much as they want. With guest speakers, food trucks, and music, EHB is a fun event that plays an important role in the betterment of the community.

Those choosing not to register can walk for free.
